Hi Lyn

So sorry I have only just picked this up. I have to say I'm surprised you are surprised, if you get my drift. After all, this IS the Blackpool Vic we are talking about. It really is the pits, and I think Jan is right - maybe a chat to your MP is on the cards.

In a bit of a rush but will e-mail more fully.

Looking forward to Saturday - Doreen will be bringing the magic wand with her and I've got a special pair of harmless scissors for you!

Take care

Lots of love

Jeanxxx

Jean, harmless scissors? I don't mean to sound ungrateful but I can't trim hair with 'harmless' scissors RollEyes How do they work for goodness sake?!

Really looking forward to the magic wand ... and did you know Jean? I've asked Doreen if I can have a crystal ball too, Lorna things it would be a good investment for future hospital visits and Doreen says ... yes!! Isn't that wonderful? So I've got a magic wand, a matching tiara and a crystal ball all on order!!!

Mary and I have broomsticks, I suppose you'll be wanting one of those next

Hmm... a broomstick. I can see how useful it might be but if I have one of those I'll need a black cat to go with it. Er ... any chance?

P.S. Seriously considering a complaint to the hospital, writing to my MP and shouting at anyone else I can think of!
But feeling a lot better today so thank you to you all Smile

Oh well, if I can have a broomstick I can borrow Melly's adorable black cat for the time being; thank you for the offer Melly! Just so long as he doesn't fidget too much and we both end up toppling offHuh I'm sure he will enjoy a ride across the skyline ThumpUp to Glossop LOL

Dear Lyn,

Just caught up with this. I am sorry about the neutrapenia return and that you are having to stop MTX again. Wonder if you are feeling so bad now because you were off it before for some time thanks to the same problem? The confusion over tests, MRI scans and so on is unforgivable. Is there a PALS office at the hospital you can go to and make a complaint? GP is another one you need to see.

Thinking of you Lyn. Will e mail.

Eleanor x

Who said that she could have scissors? In all this heat I am wearing a balaclava!

Hi Lyn

I can say without a doubt that you are such an inspiration to so many people just by reading the site and the things people say, together with the advice you have given me.

I am so sorry that this is happening to you.

Thank you Anne, what a lovely thing to saySmile My knowledge of RA has come mainly from my 22 years of personal experience but I do tend to research a lot and ask questions ... sometimes too many for my own good! Having four children has also given me plenty of life experiences too, especially where hospitals/medics are concerned!!

Things will improve, they generally do Smile

Thanks again,

Lyn x
